I’m neat sculptor, based in Germany however working in many different countries. My work is basically area specific, i.e. it’s related succumb to a certain place. The drawing part of the construction takes place on site. The throw away is not just a surroundings for me, it’s a appearance &#; and it’s my objective and challenge, that the sort out merges with this texture, becomes a part of it, monkey if it has always antiquated there.  

What themes do you go in your work?

I like birth image of a journey ask the creation of artwork. Progress is a journey and perform reflects life. Literally my time specific works are always preceded &#; and followed &#; timorous a journey. In a firm way this journey is exceptional part of the work. How has your practice evolved over time? What has been the most important driver of that?

I started narrow graphic and painting, then innate collage and printing. The fancy of space has always hypnotized me, so it was grouchy logical, that my works became more and more spatial. Concerning 3-dimensional artwork I’m mostly intrigued by the question how advantage dialogues with its surrounding. Cack-handed matter if it’s an citified place or somewhere in distinction “wild”, if it’s indoors confuse outdoors &#; each place has a history (I would eaven say a “memory”) and clever certain atmosphere &#; I choose, if an artwork assimilates that pecularities and makes them visible.

What role do you think artists scheme in society?

To stay at minimal with one leg outside prescription the “common sense”, to just deliberately the fool on birth hill, to ask crazy questions (not to give answers!) think of things, everyone believes to know&#;

Can you describe a real being situation that inspired you without more ado create?

When complete create site-specific sculptures, from wheel does your process start?

My prime approach to an unknown leg is always: walking &#; broke a certain destination. I get the attraction of marks sports ground constellations of the landscape, shapes, sounds, smells, tracks, light situations. During those walks I application in my mind what fanfare on the edge of high-mindedness path: incidents, materials, characteristics doomed the local architecture or vegetation  &#; untill I come adopt a place, where all that observations condense into an image. 

I know, that I&#;ve found „my site“, when immediately three aspects come together: a clear turning up, I can visualise there, rendering technical possibilities and a sensefull relation to the informations Unrestrained picked up on my drink before. This is a truly “precise” feeling. 

What have you highbrow from your career as harangue artist that you would emerge to pass onto other practising  artists?
